Dr. Alexandra Gelt, O.D.

Dr. Alexandra Gelt received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Calgary, Alberta, graduating with honors. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, graduating with honors, receiving the Beta Sigma Kappa award for academic excellence. Dr. Gelt completed internships at the Fresno VA Hospital in Fresno, California, Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas and Barnet Dulaney Eye Center in Phoenix , AZ. She completed advanced residency training in ocular disease and refractive surgery at the Northwest Eye Surgeons Clinic in Seattle. Prior to co-founding Clearvue Vision center, Dr. Gelt worked over 10 years at Lomas Eye Care Center where she co-managed nearly 10,000 Lasik and cataract patients as well as treated much ocular disease. Dr. Gelt has a special interest in glaucoma, dry eye, and diabetic eye disease.

Dr. Gelt is very active in her profession, with memberships in the American Optometric Association, Optometric physicians of Washington, and the King County Optometric Society. She has provided vision screenings to the military and school children.

Dr. Gelt enjoys travel, performance arts and spending time with her husband and two children.

Dr. Bryan Heitmeyer, O.D.

Dr. Heitmeyer performed his undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University. He received his Doctor of Optometry at The Ohio State University College of Optometry, where he was recognized with an award for patient care excellence. He has completed several external rotations focused on ocular disease and surgical co-management. Dr. Heitmeyer is a Dry Eye Specialist and frequently lectures and trains other doctors on the topic. Prior to co-founding Clearvue Vision Center, Dr. Heitmeyer worked at Lomas Eye Care Center where he co-managed over 4,000 Lasik and Cataract patients.

Dr. Heitmeyer actively volunteers time providing eye care to underprivileged individuals. He has participated in humanitarian mission trips to both Honduras and El Salvador. He also regularly volunteers time at the Millionaire Club providing free eye care for the working homeless of Seattle.

Dr. Heitmeyer is a member of The American Optometric Association, King County Optometric Society, and Optometric Physicians of Washington.

In his free time, Dr. Heitmeyer enjoys spending time with his two dogs, hiking, wine, adventure travel, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.

Dr. Chan is originally from Atlanta, GA. She completed her undergraduate studies from the University of Georgia and obtained her Doctorate of Optometry degree from The Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. She did her internships at Georgia Eye Partners in Atlanta and Oliver Eye Associates in Rock Hill, SC.

Dr. Chan has special interests in scleral lens and soft contact lens fittings, myopia control for children, and dry eye management. Dr Chan is a member of the American Optometric Association, Optometric physicians of Washington, and the King County Optometric Society.

In her free time, Dr. Chan enjoys tackling jigsaw puzzles, hiking the Pacific Northwest, cooking, and traveling abroad.

Dr. Abercrombie is originally from Issaquah, WA. She attended Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA for her undergraduate studies and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. Her clinical training focused on ocular disease, peri-surgical care, community health, and specialty contact lenses at Charles River Community Health Center in Brighton, MA, Portland VA Medical Center in Portland, OR, Koetting Eye Center in St. Louis, MO, and Eye Centers of South Florida in North Miami Beach, FL. Dr. Abercrombie completed residency training in primary care and ocular disease at VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics in White City, OR. She has a special interest in dry eye treatment, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, specialty contact lenses, and low vision rehabilitation. 

Dr. Abercrombie is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), Cornea and Contact Lens Section of AOA, American Academy of Optometry, and Optometric Physicians of Washington. 

In her free time Dr. Abercrombie enjoys reading, exploring nature, traveling, finding the best pizza wherever she travels, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Hart is originally from Fullerton, CA. He completed his undergraduate studies from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry. His externship rotations include Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, Milauskas Eye Institute in Palm Springs, CA, and the Lawton Indian Hospital in Lawton, OK. Dr. Hart completed residency training in primary care optometry with an emphasis in ocular disease at the Indianapolis Eye Care Center in Indianapolis, IN. Dr. Hart has a special interest in dry eye, diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, and specialty contact lenses.

In his free time, Dr. Hart enjoys traveling, bowling, escape rooms, puzzles, and eating good food.
